What if your future was the past?

    Have just recently watched the series brought out on Amazon Prime and loved it so much that I couldn't help but read the books. I brought the first Outlander book 4 days a go and have already finished it, the series was fantastic and the books even better. Cannot wait to read the rest, highly recommend to anyone who loves a good historical romance and fantasy and also Game Of Thrones fans!

    Starts off well and I thought it was going to be about time travel. It started that way in the first few chapters then it just got bogged down with Jamie and Clare's relationship, I finished the book but it became quite boring.

    Beware..once you get into this saga of Claire & Jamie, you just can't stop. You buy all the rest of the series, then you wait, and wait for Diana Gabaldon to produce the next! And she really does make you wait! Then, when you reach the final page, she does it again...a cliffhanger ending, so you wait some more. What a clever woman she is, with so many dedicated fans worldwide. I just keep hoping a movie will finally be made..but Gerard Butler is getting too old now to be cast as Jamie..pity!
