She probably said it would spice up your sex life, and what guy wouldn’t be in favor of that? Trust me - you do not want to read the book. It was written by a woman, for women. Most guys will find it dull, stupid, tiresome and waaaay too long. The ratio of tedious inner female monologue to sex scenes is about fifty shades of boring to one. However, here’s the rub: You do need to know something about it. Why? Because your odds of having hot sex with your sweetie will go up exponentially if you do. For some reason, a lot of women absolutely love this book. It gets them all hot and bothered, in a good way. You’ve probably heard that it’s been called “mommy porn,” and you’re like, “okay, porn is good, what’s not to like about that?” But guess what? There are no pictures! Seriously, you’ll see more skin in a Sears’ ad than this book. But hold on cowboy, you’re in luck. I’ve done all the hard work for you. I’ve plodded through the mind numbing boring stuff (and believe me, there’s whole lot of it.)     I'm a women and couldnt help but read it!!!! iv never read the 50 shades of grey as It doesn't interest me unless it's got humour in it.all the fuss over the actual 50 shades of grey glad I read this book it's great !!! 👍

    I was suffering from an extreme hang over yesterday and decided I needed something funny to read when I came across this book,, it worked a treat!! I was laughing my head off,, and I have read the 50 shades trilogy so for me it was even funnier!!! I just wished it was a longer book,,, I'd finished it in no time!!!

    Okay so I was looking on the book shop on my iphone to come across this book. Now in my line of work I sell these books and for f**k sake I'm getting sick of people going on about them. So I like that there is a book about this book for men. Made me chuckle and didn't take long to read. Worth the 5 stars.

    Funny yes. Book no. Humerous newspaper article would be a more accurate description. Worth 99p? No, not when you can buy a daily newspaper for £1 with far more content (including,some days at least, the humour). Fails on many counts, including repetition.

  • Starts off well but the plot kills it

    The introduction is hilarious, sharp and witty, which is why I bought it. Unfortunately it quickly gets bogged down in the plot and becomes more a précis than a commentary but there are some gems in there so if your significant other is reading this series I would recommend it so that A you have some idea what she's reading and B after reading this you won't waste several hours on the actual book!
