    This is my second purchase of a GW ebook product. Yet again I have been treated to a reprint of White Dwarf magazine pages at a premium price. The painting guide is helpful, but covers only 8 colors and only shows their application to the jet. The last portion of the guide is close up glory pictures of the ork troops, no paint advice is given, just "look at my shiny minis". It is quite frankly insulting and misleading to label this as a painting guide for Orks, it is simply a guide to paint a single model, the jet, and some other pretty pictures. Though professional, the product is a dud of extremely low value, and would be more appropriately priced at $1.99 or less. I am now wary of these products.
  • Basic painting guide

    This is a 17 'page' guide for painting Evil Sunz Orks in Warhammer 40,000. It uses the new iBooks Author format with numerous swipeable image panes so it is probably closer to 20 pages of content or so. No fluff at all just some wide shots of Orks plus some basic layering details of facets of the bomber including the pilot and Ork figures. Useful for the newcomer to the hobby or someone maybe confused over GW's new paint line. There are no advanced techniques here. Probably a better value at $5 for the amount of content.
